Christmas celebration with underprivileged children |
|
In keeping with the season of fun,
frolic and festivities, it was a humble
effort from our end to ring in the
yuletide spirit and laughter in the
lives of the underprivileged children of
HIVE India in Kolkata and SMILE
Foundation in Mumbai. |
| |
|
Decorated in keeping with the spirit of
the season, Office Linc Store, located
at Theatre Road in Kolkata, and at CR2
Mall in Nariman Point in Mumbai, played
host to these lovely children from HIVE
India & SMILE Foundation. Dressed
colorfully and smiling merrily, around
10 children participated in a sit & draw
competition where they could express
themselves through paintings and
drawings in keeping with the theme of
the Christmas. Good Old Santa Clause was
there to entertain the kids and also
gave away special prizes to the winners.
The children enjoyed a lot as they
played passing the parcel where they
could show their talent by singing,
dancing, reciting. The festivities also
included a quiz session on the brand
ambassador of Linc Pen, Shah Rukh Khan.
Children’s favourite Santa wished them
Happy New Year with surprise gifts and
sweets to all the children. |

To Teachers with Love |
|
Teachers are essentially one
of the building blocks of our lives.
At every step, we
come across teachers who devote their entire
life in the enlightenment of their students. For
sure, the definition of a teacher can’t be
limited to a subject teacher because anyone who
guides you in your life is a teacher.
LINC wanted to celebrate the special occasion of
“Teachers’ day” in honour of all the wonderful
teachers who touched our lives; and hence joined
hands with “Dhwani”, – a quartet of multilingual
singers from Kolkata. |
 |
| |
|
|
 |
 |
| |
|
|
 |
Besides the four metros, the musical shows were
held in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Guwahati,
Asansol, Ranchi and Jamshedpur. LINC distributed
attractive gift hampers to all the teachers who
came for the program as a mark of respect and
gratitude.
The concert aptly titled as “To Teachers with
Love” saw Dhwani perform live to popular Rock,
Disco, Western and Bollywood numbers. The bright
and vibrant evenings were attended and
appreciated by teachers and principals across
all schools, subjects and ages. |

 Refill More - a CSR Initiative |
 |
|
Linc Pen has reiterated its
commitment to saving the environment through its “Refill
more” project.
This project aims at making consumers conscious about
protecting the environment. It educates them about the
adverse effects of plastics on the environment and how
everyone can play their part in reducing the use of the
same. The campaign promotes an increased use of refills
since refills contain a lesser quantity of plastic. When
the ink in the pen is over, you must reuse the pen with
a new refill, instead of replacing the pen.
The “Refill More” Campaign mainly targets the
school and college students. The project will be carried
out in schools during Linc Pen’s annual Spellinc
competition. As a part of this initiative, drop boxes
will be set up in schools where students can drop off
empty refills and pens so that plastic can be recycled
in a more environment friendly way. Free refills will
also be distributed across schools and colleges to
encourage this initiative. |
